Warehouse software can't run on “roughly right”. The moment the number on the screen disagrees with the shelf, counts drift, shipments slip, the customer gets the wrong box. TrueWMS's job is to keep every movement — from receiving to the shipment document — in one system, in real time.

You can't do that from a desk: the label printer, the handheld and the ERP have to see the same truth at the same moment. So we went all the way down to the hardware on the floor.

The backbone is a service layer that ties every screen and every device in the warehouse to the same live state.

• A print agent that talks directly to Zebra label printers — labels come out of the right printer, with no browser dialogs in the way
• Live status and record locking across screens over SignalR — two operators can't overwrite the same record
• Separate API gateways for mobile, integrations and the cockpit — each client sees exactly the surface it needs
• Dense data tables that stay fluent across thousands of stock and movement rows
• Two-way integration with the ERP

The warehouse's daily operation — receiving, put-away, picking, shipping — runs end to end on this system. The number on the screen matches the shelf, and the work flows with the software instead of waiting on it.
